We are on our way north for the summer. You can see our travel progress with pictures on TrackMyTour: https://trackmytour.com/5pTZ3. This link will be updated with information as we travel. It only shows where we have been, check back often to see where we are!
This blog will be updated frequently with the sites we have visited and on the Photos tab you will see additional photos organized into albums. We had a great winter in Flagler Beach, FL. We stayed at Bulow RV Resort for 6 months and plan to do the same this year. Flagler Beach is a perfect location for Cindy because she can meet up with her cycling and knitting buddies. We did purchase a Honda 150 Red Scooter to use as a second vehicle and it is working out well, nice to have for short trips and is fun to drive! This summer we are heading to Maine. We have jobs driving propane fueled Island Explorer busses in and around Acadia National Park. New hires work 20-30 hours per week and that is all we want to work! How good is that? Management sounds like they treat their employees well and have a 90% return rate. They will also try to schedule us to work on the same days and hours so we can commute together. We will be staying in Forest Ridge Campground in Ellsworth, ME. Let us know if you are in the area. On our way north, we will visit family and 49 national park units (parks, monuments, etc.) Last April, we picked up a new 28 foot ATC enclosed trailer from the factory in Indiana which was closed due to COVID. It seemed odd to drive into the lot, hook up our trailer and pull out without talking with anyone! We are 73 feet long when we haul the trailer (almost as long as a semi-tractor trailer). The trailer nicely holds our Jeep with mountain bikes on a rear bumper rack, the scooter and tools!
